A series of public workshops, held at different locations throughout the City in September, will bring community members together to share big ideas for Delaware. The workshops will be highly interactive and designed to allow all who attend to have the chance to provide ideas to help shape the Delaware Together comprehensive plan. The workshops will include a brief presentation with information on the planning process followed by small group work at which participants will be asked to share their thoughts and take part in a mapping exercise.

The workshops will be held the following dates. The agenda will be the same at each workshop and community members are encouraged to attend the workshop that is most convenient to them.

Are these workshops open to non-citizens of Delaware? I live in Delaware County south of Hyatt Rd. and would like to attend.

  • Wayne Stone says:

Great idea. Good luck with your work. During your initial presentation, it would be a good idea to present major projects already underway.

I have significant experience in facilitation of strategic planning and would be glad to help in any way I can.

Delaware will evolve into an unlivable community if the road infrastructure isn’t addressed. My husband and I have moved here 3 years ago and didn’t know how clogged the roads were. The trucks are such a nuisance. Huge growth is anticipated in Delaware and the county. If the roads aren’t improved we will relocate.

I will attend the Conger Elementary meeting on Tuesday, September 26. I look forward to meeting your committee.

  • Frank Eastman says:

You have Two listed for the 25 of September at the same time? Is this correct?

  • Laura Alvarez says:

I wasn’t able to come to the meeting that was held yesterday. Is it still possible to attend the other meetings that are scheduled?

    • pnAdmin says:

Yes Laura. You are free to attend as many as you would like. They will all be similar in format but discussion may vary depending on turnout.
